Terrain Analysis

Course: CS380 (Game AI)
Project Number: 3 Used Tech: Built upon a provided C++ framework.

This is the third project I made for my CS380 class (Game AI) at Digipen Bilbao. In it we explore terrain analysis and some uses that can be given to it.

The analyzed layers are:

  • Distance to a wall.
  • Cover.
  • Exposure.
  • Sniper spots.
  • Player Vision(Full Circle and Cone)
  • Enemy Cone vision.

The path finding algorithm is also now modified to be able to take into account this new info.
